Research, development, fire tests and acoustic tests have proved that Alphalite masonry can achieve the requirements of the masonry unit code (AS/NZS4455), the masonry structures code (AS3700) and the Building Code of Australia (BCA) with minimal environmental impact.

Alphalite is highly durable. It has an “exposure grade” rating measured in accordance with AS/NZS4456.10, as required in the Durability section of AS3700. At the end of its life-cycle, Alphalite can be crushed and re-used.
