God’s steadfast love and blessing does not always look the way we think it ought. Gen 39:21 tells us “The LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love.” But God did not send a miraculous event to deliver Joseph out of Egypt. Instead, through all his experiences, the providence of God was there every step of the way.
