Have you ever had the experience of yearning for something, only to find that when you achieved that, the experience was very different to your expectations leaving you disappointed? Life is full of situations that don’t turn out the way we hoped they might, and so everyone knows disappointment sooner or later. The thing is, our level of disappointment concerning any particular issue or perceived failure, correlates directly with our assumptions. And the problem with unattended disappointment is that it can grow to completely fill our horizens to such an extent we see nothing else. So how ought we address our disappointments in life?
